I followed your forceful intuition
And accepted his invite for an evening meal
However, no pulse or vibration
No fanciful sensation
Without you, how do I once again start to feel?

Met my ex for a quiet coffee
A pleasant chat, like we used to do
And whilst he attempted to entice
Just to recall old times was nice
Nevertheless, nothing more, no sparks came through!

You've turned my world completely upside down
My emotions are in a total spin
Not sure how to act
Miss you so much, that's a fact
Don't know what to do, I can't seem to win.

Miss your smile, and our interesting chats
Our banter and the silliness too
Even though the lust had begun
Each day was still good fun
